JACK FUNNELL

YEAR BORN: 1992
OCCUPATION: Farlows Shop Manager

Jack didn’t know anyone who fished growing up, until he fished a day with a tutor which saw him land the lake’s largest carp, he was instantly hooked! After coarse fishing for several years he turned his attention to carp fishing. At 18 he joined his first syndicate, Mercers Country Park, where he had his first 30lb carp, closely followed by a few more! In more recent years he has spent time fishing some great big fish water’s; such as, Swan Valley, Brookland’s, Kingsmead 1, Kingsmead Island, Wraysbury and Frimley. When the seasons change and winter sets in, he tends to fish some prolific day ticket waters including Linear and Farlow’s, where there’s always a chance of a bite or two even in the harshest of conditions.
