LANCE BARTON
YEAR BORN: 1987
OCCUPATION: Gamekeeper
Starting his angling life early in and around Suffolk, Lance was never spoilt for choice when it came to big carp. An upper-thirty for the area was considered a very large carp for the region, so when Lance set his sights on what potentials were outside his home country, he soon got the big carp bug and looked elsewhere for his angling fix.
Lance bases his angling a lot around observation and setting traps in the edge, learning constantly how the carp are behaving and reacting to what’s in front of him. Being a country man and a gamekeeper, his life has always revolved around wildlife which makes his passion for fishing stronger than ever.
