Liquids hold an important place in the angling bait world, from the discovery of potent yet attractive liquid flavours in the early days to the myriad of different food liquids available in recent years, each step has seen many forms and as with anything in life, each subdivision has its front runners. Ever since Sticky was formed, we have used the finest quality liquid foods in our products as well as offering the neat, completely raw liquids to our customers directly. Always striving to stay one step ahead of the game, we are constantly on the lookout for new sources of ingredients and with the ever-changing world we live in, they come thick and fast! The key is to weed out the weak products and only cherry pick the most nutritional and attractive ones available, before they are tested and eventually, if proven to be effective, sent out to your favourite stockists.
Following extensive research, we are proud to finally offer two new liquids in our Pure range, a line of products which are completely, as the name suggests, raw and untampered with. Pure Fish and Pure Shrimp Liquid came with impressive spec sheets and their initial testing period revealed they aren’t just numbers on a page, they work in the real world too! With numbers of carp falling to our team over a relatively short period of time, we wasted no time, and managed to fast track their release to ensure our customers can take advantage of some of the most attractive and user-friendly liquids we have ever produced.
PURE FISH LIQUID
Pure Fish is made using a mixture of incredibly oily, protein rich pelagic fish. These high energy, fast swimming creatures provide the liquid with a superb nutritional profile that carp seem to find hard to ignore. The finished product has a high viscosity, as is often the way with liquids made using fish proteins, which is important to bear in mind when you get your hands on it.
Being a thick liquid, Pure Fish is suited for use with boilies more than any other bait. It soaks into first few millimetres, yet due to its thickness, it’s impossible for the liquid to fully soak into the boilies. The result is a sticky outer coating which can be left on its own to slowly break down once introduced to your swim, or it can be used as a means of sticking powdered ingredients to your boilies for even more attraction. Secondly, whilst still talking about boilies, Pure Fish Liquid is perfect for use with washed out baits. A small amount in a bucket of boilies with just enough water to cover will ensure your baits won’t take on the scent of the lakebed, yet will still pump out plenty of scent into the water column.

HIGHLY SOLUBLE
All of our liquids are designed to be super soluble, ensuring they release attraction into the water column for the carp to find. Pure Fish Liquid creates a perfect haze around it boosting the attraction for the carp.
PVA FRIENDLY
For ease of use, our Pure Fish Liquid is PVA friendly, allowing you to add another dimension to your baiting approach.
Pure Fish can be used with pellets and particles too, but the former can become a little claggy if left for too long. As such we recommend mixing Pure Fish with a thinner liquid, or even an oil when using pellets just to ensure your pellets don’t stick together in one bucket-shaped block.
PURE SHRIMP LIQUID
Pure Shrimp Liquid is at the other end of the spectrum to Pure Fish, it has a deep red colour and is much thinner, which helps it to create a cloud in the water. As the name suggests, it’s made using shrimp and anyone who is into their nutritional make up, and particularly amino acids will know that the whole family that shrimps are included in are right up there with the best profiles of any creature. As such, you will be hard pressed to find a more attractive and more soluble liquid than Pure Shrimp.
With a viscosity akin to milk, Pure Shrimp is even more versatile than Pure Fish and can be used for absolutely anything you desire. From soaking a pot of super boosted hookbaits to introducing a whole bottle to a bucket of boilies or spod mix, this liquid can do it all. Being so thin, if left to stand for several hours, the liquid will work its way into boilies or pellets with ease, and will then release over a prolonged period, ensuring the fish continue to visit your baited spot for longer periods of time.

Thanks to their real bloodworm base, our range of Bloodworm liquids are rich in feed stimulating amino acids, that help the carp home in on your baited area.

All of our liquids are designed to be super soluble, ensuring they release attraction into the water column for the carp to find. Due to its high solubility, Pure Shrimp Liquid lends itself perfectly to use as a bait soak for boilies & pellets.

For ease of use, our Pure Shrimp Liquid is PVA friendly, allowing you to add another dimension to your baiting approach.
As the weather cools, the liquids you use must be suited to the cold as well. Oils tend to congeal, especially fish-based oils and such as a lot of the top liquid additives which are fish-based seem to be much less effective in the winter months. This is purely down to the release of their attractors; they are far better used when the water is at its warmest. However, the Pure Shrimp Liquid is the perfect choice for fishing in the winter, if you still want a salty, marine based liquid. Being a thin liquid, with an incredibly high solubility and low-fat content, it will distribute its attraction faster than most liquids on the market. It changes very little when it comes to temperature and has been proven to still work effectively in sub-zero conditions.
Both new liquids can be used together of course if you really want to mix things up. Whether you choose to fish them on their own, or as a pair, there’s no doubting their effectiveness, and as with all of our liquids, there’s no real hard and fast rules, and any out of the box thinking will surely only bring you faster and potentially better results.
