ASHLEY JAMES

Ashley James entered this lovely 35lb 2oz mirror, which took a liking to a pink Signature wafter fished over a mixture of Manilla boilies and Bloodworm pellets. The 23-year-old targeted a margin spot with just five handfuls of his mix on a southern club water.

JAKE BROMLEY

A Krill pop-up fished over a small bed of washed-out freebies produced an incredibly dark 31lb mirror for Jake Bromley. The 24-year-old was fishing a 24-hour session on Birchmoor fishery, where he also landed a double figure common in the same session.

JAMES MITCHELL

James Mitchell helped himself to a cracking looking 43lb 4oz mirror during a five-night stint at his Lincolnshire syndicate. The Lincoln carper used a Manilla White One over a mixture of Manilla boilies and pellets soaked in Liquid Liver and Hemp Oil.

CORRIAN CLUSKEY

A five-night session on a low stock club water produced a 41lb 1oz common for Corrian Cluskey, which fell to a Krill pop-up fished over Krill Active, Manilla pellets and tiger nuts. He said: “I fished a spot on the far margin, which I baited by hand. The big common topped a great session for me, which ended with eight fish, including three other fish over 30lb.”

JIMMY HILL

Jimmy Hill is a regular in Catch of the Month, this time he entered two fish from an 18-hour session on his Berkshire syndicate. The fish, which went 34lb 4oz and 25lb 10oz respectively, were part of a four fish haul taken on Krill wafters fished over a mix of Krill Active, Bloodworm pellets and Calanus Liquid.

PAUL SINGLETON

Pre-baiting proved successful for Paul Singleton, who landed a lovely Colne Valley common of 33lb 8oz during an overnight session. The fish was taken from a snaggy spot, laced with a mixture of Krill boilies in different sizes.

NICK BAKER

A Signature wafter fished over a bed of Krill Active produced a 27lb 6oz common for Nick Baker. The 30-year-old fished Kent history water Chillham Mill, where he targeted a gravel spot close to a tiny island.

RAZZO BALL

Targeting the busy Yateley complex, Razzo Ball targeted areas away from the crowds, which resulted in a new PB in the form of a 38lb 8oz mirror. The typical slate grey fish fell to a Krill pop-up fished over 3kg of Krill boilies along with half a kilo of pellets.

REECE KING

Reece King landed this 33lb 12oz mirror during a four-night session on Reading club water, Junction 12 Lake. He used a Krill pop-up hookbait over a spread of Krill Active. Reece said: “The fish came after the air pressure dropped, from a silty area I had been targeting, waiting for the good weather to come in.”
