The Ellipse Effect
1st June 2018
Despite speculation, the Ellipse pellets are not just for barbel, they’re in-fact highly effective when used for carp. Two anglers that can vouch for these incredible pellets are Adam Penning and Martin Bowler, so with the release of the Ellipse pellets getting closer and closer we thought we should you exactly what they’re capable of.
Martin Bowler: When Martin was quoted saying “The best is back” and that the Ellipse pellets where “A fantastic bait and one that I can assure you I’ll be using.”, he wasn’t lying. This is what he told us when we caught up with him earlier this week “My latest outing with the Ellipse pellets proved highly fruitful, I managed to tempt an incredible 41lb mirror whilst stalking in the margins. The brute was immediately tails up when he came across my bed of Ellipse pellets, and within no time at all my hookbait was engulfed and the victim in my net.”
Adam Penning: “I have been lucky to get hold of the Ellipse pellets early, catching some big carp to upper thirties from very tricky waters” Not straying from the truth, Adam has also added some proof to his recent statement “During a single night session on the Bayswater Syndicate I found the odds stacked against me as I hadn’t seen the lake since last October. However, when I found some carp patrolling close in along the margin I felt slightly more confident. Without hesitating I introduced some Ellipse pellets and once the fish were clear of the zone I added trimmed Krill wafter hookbaits to the swim. The next couple of hours brought me two takes topped by an amazing 37lb mirror.” Adam has since added “These pellets are destined to be a major breakthrough this season, get on them quick!”
