STEVE RENYARD

YEAR BORN: 1969
OCCUPATION: Angling Tutor & Consultant

Steve started fishing for carp back in 1977, but he really got into it in about 83’, when boilies pretty much hit the scene. He was fortunate enough to meet Kevin Maddocks back in the Withy days and got involved in that scene. That’s where it really kicked off and he made his way into the magazines. His famous feature called ‘The Weekender’ with Rich Stewart was one of the classics of the era. It was pivotal to his carp fishing career, and paved the way for him to still work within the industry to this day.
