Everything You Need To Know About Reflections

15th June 2018

With the release of the full Reflections film just one day away, we thought we would give you a little insight into the ethos behind Reflections, along with a general breakdown of each individual chapter, giving you an idea of what to expect.

Overview: Over the years the carp fishing industry has become more and more competitive and the love for our sport has been somewhat lost. So, with the intention of inspiring carpers across the world to want nothing more but to get out on the bank, it was decided, we were going to create a film that held no purpose of plugging products and instead just featured good, solid angling.

Chapter 1: A dream of summer

In Martin Bowlers stand-alone section of Reflections, he takes us back in time to the early days of his angling when he was just a boy, targeting his quarry with the humblest of methods.

Coupled with a special guest narration, this truly nostalgic segment of the film is set to inspire many of you as you watch in anticipation, waiting for Martin’s float to slide under the surface is destine to set the heart racing.

Chapter 2: The secret lake

Arriving to a new lake always holds a certain level of excitement for any angler, two anglers that are very familiar with this feeling are Gareth Fareham and Marcus Howarth. Upon arriving to what Gaz described as “the perfect carp venue”, the pair where greeted by the sight of a gin clear, reed-lined, weedy carp haven. In this chapter you will follow the two friends as they embark on an incredible session filled with highs and lows, and of course, plenty of amazing carp.

Chapter 3: On the Circuit

In this chapter of Reflections, you will witness two big fish anglers, Ben Hamilton and Oz Holness, taken out of their comfort zone as they attempt to tackle one of the countries most pressured day ticket venues. All be it out of their comfort zones they’re certainly not out of their depth, and if you would like to find out exactly what this pair of highly skilled anglers catch, be sure to head over to the Sticky Baits TV channel on YouTube.

Chapter 4: The Campaign

If you follow Myles Gibson on social media, you will know that he has been focussing a lot of his efforts on Dinton Pastures. To say his time on Black Swan has been successful, is an understatement! His recent capture of the elusive Petty’s common is just an example of what this unbelievable venue holds, and if you want to see what else Myles has banked make sure you don’t miss The Campaign

Chapter 5: The Cassien Adventure

Filmed at what is possibly the world’s most iconic carp fishing venue, this chapter of Reflections features some absolutely incredible carp caught by some of today’s finest anglers. From June 16th, tune in and witness all the highs and lows as you follow Adam Penning, Dan Wildbore and Marcus Howarth on their extremely challenging adventure at the monumental Lac de St Cassien.
