40lb Cambridgeshire Krill Victim

Tom Denton has a hunch that leads him to land this 40lb 6oz mirror that took a liking to his homemade hookbaits and Krill free offerings.
When discussing the events of his session, Tom revealed: “Upon my arrival to the lake I had a hunch of where the fish would be held up, so with the lake void of anglers I took to the boat in the hope of confirming my hunch. As I neared the area my suspicions were confirmed by a good group of fish sunning themselves amongst the snags. Without any further ado I returned to the bank to ready my rods. Within no time at all I had three rods rigged and ready to with my homemade hookbaits. Each rod was lowered into position and followed by a scattering of The Krill free offerings.
By the time I received the bite, the cover of darkness had already fallen. I was alerted to just two bleeps on the right-hander, due to fishing locked up I immediately rushed over to the rod and took straight to the boat . As I drew closer to the spot there was a huge eruption on the surface, my attention was immediately diverted to the source of the disturbance where I cast my eyes over a large mirror. Fortunately the battle soon drew to a close without any further dramas and I found myself heading back to dry land with a 40-pounder in tow.”
